Traffic light leashes aim to communicate with others in public about your dog's boundaries, just light a traffic light does;
GO - In the colour green, indicates the dog is comfortable to be approached and poses no issues for other people or dogs. On the green leashes it also has the writing "friendly" to further explain to others.
WAIT - In the colour yellow, indicates that people need to approach with caution as the dog in nervous. Hopefully this means talking to the owner and asking what the dog's boundaries are before interaction.
STOP - In the colour Red, is to communicate to others not to approach at all. We have created these leashes in two types - One that says "Caution - Do Not Approach" which can be used for a number of reasons such as the dog is aggressive to people/animals, it has just had surgery, it is training etc. The other says "Dog Reactive - Give Me Space." These are best used when the dog only has issues with other dogs approaching it on leash but is generally fine in other circumstances, including with people.
These leashes help keep dogs not only physically safe, but emotionally safe. They are part of our program to help owners understand animal consent and boundaries.
All of the feature beautiful black clips and black D rings for Poo Bag attachment.
