Our Full Clips service is the perfect choice for pet parents who want their furry friends to look adorable while keeping their coat manageable and easy to maintain.

For this service the hair on the body and legs is clipped to one even length (up to 16mm), giving a clean and polished look. While the coat is kept uniform, the head and tail can still be styled to suit your preference—whether that’s a teddy bear trim, a breed-standard look, or a short and practical cut.

This groom is by far the most popular option for fluffy and long-haired dogs, and for good reason! Not only do they look extra cute, but they’re also more economical and much easier to maintain at home, reducing the need for as much brushing and preventing knots or matting from forming. It’s the perfect balance between style and practicality, keeping your pup fresh, fluffy, and comfortable.

If you're looking for a groom that keeps your dog neat, adorable, and easy to care for, a Full Clip is the way to go.

→ The longest length Full Clip is 12mm (#3f blade.) If you want the hair on the body longer than that, you will need to book a Fluffy Groom.

→ The body on dogs with this groom is done with blades, not extension combs or scissors (apart from shaping the feet.)

→ If the dog has matting, we will try to get the longest blade we can underneath the matting however, matting can sit close to the skin and we often have to go quite short.

→ Groomers generally don't like to Full Clip double-coated dogs. Though the research isn't conclusive, anecdotally many believe the coat will be damaged. For double-coated dogs we muh prefer to Groom-Out. There's always exceptions to the rule though, so please feel free to have a chat with us to help make your decision a bit easier.
